How Much Does Financial Coaching Cost?

If you’ve ever tried to Google how much financial coaching costs, you already know most of the answers feel pretty vague. You get ranges. You get definitions. You get fluff. But you rarely get a clear understanding of what you actually pay and what you actually receive.

So let’s make this simple.

Below is a transparent breakdown of the cost of one-on-one financial coaching with me at KPW Financial Coaching, plus what goes into the numbers, the results clients experience, and how to know whether this kind of support is the right investment for you.

Why people hire a financial coach in the first place

Most people who reach out to me already know the basics of personal finance. They’ve listened to podcasts, tried spreadsheets, downloaded apps, and told themselves they would finally “get organized” every January.

The problem isn’t information.
The problem is implementation.

Coaching gives you structure, accountability, personalized guidance, and a place to ask questions without feeling judged. It’s one thing to know what you should do. It’s another thing to have someone help you actually do it in a way that works for your real life and business.

The two ways to work with me one-on-one

I keep my offers simple. You can start with a one-time session or commit to deeper support through my four-month program.

The Clarity Session

A one-time, 2-2.5 hour session focused on your biggest financial opportunities and the actions that will help you make quick progress.

2025 price: $397
2026 prices:

  • Personal finances only: $497

  • Business plus personal: $647

In this session, we:

  • Review your numbers so you understand where your money is going

  • Walk through a budgeting approach that works especially well for variable income

  • Map out two high-impact action steps you can take immediately

Clients often walk away feeling noticeably lighter and more in control. One person identified $1,700 in monthly savings during this single session. Another walked out with clarity that replaced months of confusion and stress.

This session is perfect if you want expert guidance and a safe space to ask all your questions, without committing to a 4-month program right away.

The Money Confidence Program

This is where long-term change happens. This 4-month program includes implementation support, accountability, a built-for-you budget, and unlimited questions between sessions.

2025 price: $497 per month
2026 prices:

  • Personal finances only: $547 per month

  • Business plus personal: $697 per month

This program includes:

  • Unlimited messaging access for help between sessions

  • Full buildout and implementation of your budget for your personal and business finances

  • Values-based budgeting work

  • Financial purpose and goal-setting exercises

  • Support navigating irregular income, owner pay, slow seasons, and spending decisions

  • Clear routines and systems that keep you organized long after coaching ends

If education were enough, everyone would already feel confident and organized financially. Coaching gives you the support and guidance to turn information into real change.

For a limited time, I’m also offering special pricing on The Money Confidence Intensive, which includes both the Clarity Session and the Money Confidence Program.

Why business owners pay a different rate

The biggest factor that affects pricing is whether we’re working solely on personal finances or both personal and business finances.

Business owners have more layers. We look at:

  • Variable income

  • Owner pay systems

  • Taxes

  • Pricing

  • Business spending

  • Slow seasons

  • Time off planning

There’s simply more complexity and more value in stabilizing both sides of your financial life. When your business finances are predictable and steady, your personal finances become predictable and steady. That’s what we build together.

Real results clients have experienced

These examples help show what this work can look like in real life.

One client paid off over $30,000 of credit card debt

Over about five months, one client eliminated all of their credit card debt. They went from constantly worrying about money to feeling steady and able to take time off without stressing about a slow week.

One client found $1,700 in monthly savings during a single session

By reviewing their spending, removing duplicate expenses, and shifting a few financial habits, a Clarity Session identified a meaningful amount of monthly savings. They said they walked away with clarity that felt like a weight off their shoulders.

Other common outcomes

  • Feeling less anxious about money

  • Knowing exactly what to do next

  • Saving more consistently

  • Paying off debt faster

  • Having a system that works even when income fluctuates

  • Feeling confident navigating slow seasons

  • Getting back time you used to spend worrying, Googling, or second-guessing

People hire me because they want money to feel less messy and more manageable. They want to stop feeling behind and start feeling like they’re moving forward.

The biggest misconception about the cost of coaching

One of the most common thoughts I hear is something along the lines of:

“I’m struggling financially, so it doesn’t make sense to spend money on help.”

And I get it. Truly.
But here’s the question I ask gently and openly:

What is the chance that you’ll get the outcome you want without support?

If you’ve already been trying to figure things out alone for a long time, and you keep finding yourself stuck or overwhelmed, then support can be the thing that changes everything. Much like hiring a personal trainer, coaching helps you make progress faster and with more confidence.

It isn’t about spending money for the sake of spending money.
It’s about investing in yourself to create a different result.

Are there any hidden costs?

Nope! My services are flat-fee. I don’t earn commissions. I don’t upsell products. I don’t require software subscriptions.

The only cost is the coaching option you choose.
The work we do together is based entirely on what serves you.

So, is financial coaching worth it?

Coaching is worth it if you want:

  • Less stress around money

  • Clear steps instead of confusion

  • Support for irregular income

  • Accountability so you stick with the plan

  • A budgeting method that fits your lifestyle

  • Someone in your corner who understands both personal and business finances

  • Faster progress than doing it alone

Ultimately, coaching is right for you if you’re ready for your money to feel more stable, less overwhelming, and more aligned with the life you want to build.

Want to talk through your situation?

If you’re curious about coaching or want help deciding whether this is the right investment for you, the next step is a Q&A Call. It’s a simple, pressure-free conversation where we look at your goals and your challenges and figure out what support makes sense.

Book your Q&A Call here.

You’ll walk away clearer, no matter what.
